What you will do:

  • Developing new features and enhancements for the online platforms. 
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure that all new features and enhancements are working properly. 
  • Analyzing existing features to identify areas for improvement. 
  • Understanding user needs and adding value to their experience on the websites. 
  • Collaborating with backend engineers and web developers to optimize and customize websites. 
  • Developing code that meets the highest standards of style, responsiveness, and best practices. 
  • Applying best practices for design and front-end development to ensure that the websites are responsive, usable, and useful for the audience. 
  • Managing and maintaining the websites by making updates as needed. 
  • Defining metrics for success and tracking progress.

What we are looking for:

  • An undergraduate degree in Software or Computer Engineering, Design, Communication, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in web design and development. 
  • Knowledge and proven experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
  • Understanding of one backend language, such as PHP, Python, or Django. 
  • Knowledge and proven experience working on CMS such as Moodle. 
  • Working knowledge of data manipulation and visualization techniques. 
  • Ability to understand the limitations of website design and development. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to think through a problem from all aspects of problem-solving. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. 
  • Willingness to work independently and as part of a team as needed for projects. 
  • Some understanding of Google Analytics and Hotjar to extract valuable insights.
