Ejento AI, built by Data Science Dojo, is raising the bar for retrieval-augmented LLM applications, but innovation means nothing without resilient, scalable infrastructure. As we grow, we need a Software Engineer – Infrastructure to automate, secure, and optimize the cloud backbone that powers every deployment. Your work will turn complex challenges into seamless, production-ready systems, ensuring Ejento’s breakthroughs reach real users, not just the whiteboard.
What you’ll do
Your mission, should you choose to accept it
- Design, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure to support rapid, reliable deployment of RAG-based LLM applications.
- Build and maintain backend solutions with a focus on automation, scalability, and performance.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud resource provisioning using tools like Bicep, Terraform, or similar frameworks.
- Implement and manage containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to streamline deployment and scaling.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to accelerate delivery and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security, scalability, and operational challenges in a fast-moving AI environment.
- Stay curious track emerging trends in cloud, DevOps, and backend engineering, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
The skills & expertise you bring
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in backend development and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment strategies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, Bicep, Terraform, or similar frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for security, risk mitigation, and solving complex problems.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Interest in AI, data science, or technical education, and curiosity about the security challenges in these domains.
Bonus points
- Experience with RAG-based LLM platforms or AI/ML infrastructure.
- Contributions to open-source DevOps or cloud automation projects.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Exposure to security best practices in cloud-native environments.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, or building tools that make AI more accessible.
