Affiliate Professor at University of Washington

Karthik Mohan is an affiliate faculty with the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at the University of Washington, Seattle. He received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from UW with a specialization in optimization algorithms for machine learning. He went on to solve complex large-scale business problems through cutting-edge Machine Learning solutions at both Amazon and Facebook. Dr. Mohan has authored many publications at top-tier ML conferences and his research interests span the range of Generative AI, NLP and Recommender Systems to name a few.
