Data Science Dojo implemented a comprehensive solution that addressed the challenges faced by the organization. The solution consisted of two interconnected web applications: 

1. Grants Management System (Internal): The grants management system provided a centralized platform for managing the entire grants activity cycle. It streamlined processes, automated workflows, and facilitated efficient collaboration among stakeholders and donors. Key features included:
   1. Streamlined Grant Workflow: The system enabled authorities to submit/review/approve grants and proposals online, eliminating the need for manual paperwork.  
   2. Real-time Progress Tracking: The system provided real-time visibility into grants progress, enabling stakeholders to track lifecycle, budgets, outcomes, beneficiaries, and financial info. 
   3. Data Analytics and Reporting: Comprehensive data analytics dashboards empowered decision makers with actionable insights, facilitating informed decision making and impact assessment. 
2. Partner’s Portal (External): It served as an interface for external partners organizations to submit and manage proposals which later become grants. Key features included:
   1. Grant Application and Reporting: External partners could submit grant/proposal applications, access project-specific information, and submit progress reports through the portal. 
   2. Collaboration and Communication: The portal facilitated seamless collaboration between the organization and its partners, enabling efficient communication and document sharing. 
   3. Transparent Information Exchange: Partners had access to real-time updates on grant status, funding allocations, and reporting requirements, fostering transparency and accountability.

The automated workflows, cron jobs and streamlined processes significantly reduced the time taken to review and approve grants. Real-time data accessibility and comprehensive analytics dashboards empowered stakeholders to make informed decisions and monitor program impact effectively.

The grants management system and partner’s portal were designed with multilingual support to cater to a diverse audience. Users could interact with the system in their preferred language, eliminating language barriers and enhancing the overall user experience.
