Job Role: We are seeking HR Trainees or Interns for our Recruitment and Learning & Development (L&D) functions. In this position, you will work closely with hiring managers to source high-potential candidates, refine hiring strategies, engage with talent pipelines, and ensure a seamless candidate experience, helping to build a strong, future-ready team. Simultaneously, you will assist in the design, coordination, and delivery of learning initiatives and organizational development interventions, supporting our mission to foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and organizational excellence.

What you will do:

Recruitment & Selection:

  • Source and identify potential candidates using various tools, craft job descriptions, post on job boards, and leverage social media platforms such as LinkedIn and others.
  • Maintain a dynamic candidate pool to meet future staffing targets, proactively securing the right talent at the right time to support our rapid growth.
  • Conduct screening interviews, schedule interviews, coordinate schedules, send invitations, and prepare interview materials.
  • Analyze recruitment data to improve strategies and streamline hiring processes to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain our competitive edge in attracting top talent.
  • Take ownership of tasks like managing onboarding and ensuring timely activation of employee benefits, while gaining a deeper understanding of the recruitment process and HR tools.

 

Learning & Development:

  • Assist in the design, coordination, and delivery of learning initiatives, workshops, and training sessions for employees across the organization.
  • Support the implementation and evaluation of organizational development (OD) interventions aimed at enhancing team effectiveness, engagement, and performance.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify learning needs and recommend relevant solutions.
  • Help develop engaging learning materials, guides, and communication content for internal audiences.
  • Coordinate logistics for training events, including scheduling, invitations, and feedback collection.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of L&D processes by gathering feedback and analyzing learning outcomes.

What we are looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, people development, computer science, or a related field.
  • Prior internship experience in recruitment & selection or learning & development will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstration of strong problem-solving abilities and innovative, strategic thinking.
  • Basic proficiency with productivity tools e.g. Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Basics of conducting interviews in various formats, including phone, virtual, and structured interviews.
  • An ownership mindset, proactive, reliable, and eager to take initiative.
  • Basic understanding of sourcing strategies, such as university outreach and headhunting.
