I definitely feel I learned a lot from Data Science Dojo and taking from what I learned I definitely can build upon it and I will definitely be participating in a lot more Kaggle competitions and start building my portfolio using what I learned from Data Science Dojo – Priscilla Mannuel attended Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp.

I would recommend people go to the Data Science Dojo bootcamp if they’re just trying to learn what it means to be a data scientist. It’s definitely really good at teaching the fundamentals which I think is ultimately more important. So it teaches you how to think and then you know later on you can fit different pieces into that toolbox – Ryan DeMartino attended Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp.

I come from a background in biology and math I did health policy in graduate school with the focus on global health with some analytics for a city agency then I did some analytics for a giant health insurance company. So I was very interested in nonparametric methods also learning machine learning and when I came to decision trees or when it came to let’s say neural networks that’s just like, “Ooh. How does that happen, how does that work?”I was impressed with the range of topics covered also a little bit kind of cautious because the scope is so wide, you know. I was like, “Whoa how are you guys going to cover all of this in just a few days?” As I browse the website I thought, “”Oh you know this could be actually some great exercise.What was pleasantly surprising is like, “Whoa I have so many great ideas but i don’t know where to jump first.” And it’s such a like a desire to just master all of these things. And then I was thinking also yeah I’d be great if some of my senior associates like some of the managers could be able to – maybe some of our clients – would be able to kind of sit through something maybe shorter but understand the importance, the promise, the impressive power of a lot of these tools, a lot of his products.I thought it was great I think you know. So I think in general I think it could be useful in filling in missing values it could be useful in helping – complimenting current missing data. This bootcamp was great! Excellent information packed into a whirlwind week. Before I took this training, data science seemed to be an exclusive club that was hard to get into. Data Science Dojo’s week long bootcamp provided me with enough knowledge, understanding, and experience to go back to work and begin implementing forecast models. A week ago, data science was more of a “magical black box” and today I’ll be walking away with the ability to “do the thing” – Jordan LeGrand attended Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp.

Thorough introduction to prediction models and ensemble techniques. Obviously in a five-day bootcamp, one doesn’t become an expert. Data science dojo was the best bootcamp that I attended in a long time. The best part was how an ocean of knowledge was fit into 5 days with a great balance on concepts, application, R, Azure ML, ML algorithms – under the hood, data engineering and attempting kaggle competitions. This bootcamp helped me add a new dimension to solve key problems in a smart way – Ravi Botla attended Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp.

Data Science Dojo effectively peels the layers on different algorithms. I really liked the emphasis on the concepts and the hands on learning. I walked away feeling exhilarated with knowledge of newer tools – Sudha Solayappan attended Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp.

Data Science Dojo provided me with a map to navigate all the data science information online. After the class, learning data science actually seemed less overwhelming – Kaitlyn Kelley attended Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp.

This is a great introductory course for data science. It touches a wide range of topics and provides the participants with enough awareness & skills to pursue additional learning on their own. The instructors are knowledgeable, passionate and willing to get in to detailed in depth discussions about any of the topics. The weeklong course is fairly intense and the instructors did a great job keeping the participants engaged – Sudeep Vishnumurthy attended Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp.

I really enjoyed this bootcamp. The instructors are enthusiastic and the whole week is very interactive and hands on. I’m just beginning my data science journey, but I am excited to implement some of the skills learned in Austin this wee – Allison Ottenbacher attended Data Science and Data Engineering Bootcamp..
