About the role:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of web copywriting and have at least 1 year of relevant experience. As a Digital Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging and persuasive content that resonates with our target audience and drives online engagement. Your ability to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content while adhering to brand guidelines is essential for the success of our digital marketing efforts.

What you will do:

  • Write and edit clear, compelling, and concise content for various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, emails, and other marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with brand objectives and target audience preferences.
  • Regularly conduct research to gather information and insights for creating relevant and informative content.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive web traffic.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all digital content, maintaining brand voice and guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital content creation and copywriting.
  • Proofread and edit content for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Work closely with design and multimedia teams to integrate text with visual elements.
  • Assist in brainstorming and developing the latest content ideas for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine strategies and improve engagement.
  • Adapt content for different platforms and formats while maintaining effectiveness.
  • Review and close guest blog submissions, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and target audience preferences, and correcting any errors in grammar, punctuation, and style.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in digital content writing, copywriting, or a related role.
  • Basic understanding of web copywriting principles, including SEO best practices and user experience.
  • Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and style, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong research skills to gather information from various sources and present it coherently and engagingly.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and WordPress is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creativity and a passion for writing with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences and platforms.
  • Proficiency in using digital communication and collaboration tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • A portfolio of past work demonstrating a range of writing styles and formats is highly desirable.
