Data Analyst Trainee

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will develop interactive dashboards, collaborate with clients to understand their data needs, and apply complex data manipulations to large datasets. Your analytical skills will drive meaningful insights and enhance our data analytics capabilities.

What you will do:

  • Develop dynamic and interactive dashboards and reports using diverse data sources 
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and translate requirements into appropriate dashboards to effectively convey data findings. 
  • Coordinate ETL processes and liaise with engineering teams to optimize data workflows,  
  • Applying complex data manipulations, cleaning, and transformation on large datasets. 
  • Extract actionable insights from data trends within dashboards and reports. 
  • Utilize automation tools for optimizing data processing tasks and developing user-friendly interfaces. 
  • Integrate various AI services to enhance data analytics capabilities and glean insights from unstructured data.

What we are looking for:

  • Pursuing or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field  
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib for creating visualizations and reports. 
  • Experience working with different data sources including relational databases (SQL, MySQL), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Excel files, CSV files 
  • Basic understanding of data engineering concepts: data modeling, ETL, data warehousing. 
  • SQL skills for querying and manipulating relational databases 
  • Proficiency in Python, or any other programming language, for data manipulation and visualization (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn)  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets. 
  • Robust organizational skills for multitasking and attention to detail; ensuring high-quality work. 
  • Quick learning and adaptability to new technologies. 
  • Willingness for further training and certifications, with a commitment to continuous learning in data science and analytics techniques and technology. 
  • Effective communication of technical concepts and collaboration with team members. 
  • Interest in data and technology and eagerness to apply data analysis skills to real-world problems.

Nice to have: 

  • Certifications in Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900), or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) 
  • Knowledge of data processing technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop, AWS Glue). 
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. 
  • Experience integrating Power BI with other Microsoft products and services 
  • Ability to conduct in-depth data analysis using Power BI with experience publishing reports and dashboards to Power BI Service 
  • Strong proficiency in writing DAX formulas for creating calculated columns, measures, and complex calculations to derive insights from data
