About the role:

Can you drive a company’s sales by developing and executing strategies that nurture new and existing customer relationships? Are you responsible for deeply understanding the company’s products, researching consumer needs, and identifying how solutions meet those needs? If yes, then we are on a hunt for you. Business Development Specialist will focus on expanding our customer base and creating new business opportunities, leveraging CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline and foster relationships effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience nurturing leads, tracking prospects, and contributing to the overall business development strategy.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement effective inbound sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and generate qualified leads through channels like email campaigns, webinars, and referrals.
  • Nurture potential leads by effectively communicating the value of Data Science Dojo’s training offerings throughout the sales cycle.
  • Conduct thorough product demonstrations, respond to inquiries related to the product, and ensure customers have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and accurate logging of all activities, interactions, and opportunities in the CRM.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leads, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Actively engage in account management activities, including upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
  • Utilize CRM tools, such as HubSpot, to manage and track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Reach out to leads, schedule meetings, and conduct presentations to showcase Data Science Dojo’s training offerings.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the customer.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with targeted campaigns, tracking engagement using the CRM to assess campaign success.
  • Track key performance metrics, using reporting tools to analyze outreach performance and optimize lead conversion strategies. Prepare regular sales activity reports to provide insights and identify areas for improvement in outreach and sales efforts.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities.

What we are looking for:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in sales and marketing outreach.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools, making you a tech-savvy professional.
  • Navigate CRM systems effortlessly, maintaining an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus, showcasing your ability to connect with and understand customers.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
