Technical Content Engineer

About the role:

As a Technical Content Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering content that simplifies complex technical concepts related to data science, AI, generative AI, large language models and tools/technologies related to these disciplines. What you will do:

  • Research, plan, create, execute and repurpose interactive courses for diverse backgrounds ranging from very technical to business and leadership.  
  • Write, edit, and proofread technical content for use in instructor-led and self-paced courses, such as slide decks, coding exercises, etc. 
  • Collaborate with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to obtain an in-depth understanding of technology and content requirements. 
  • Transform complex ideas into a compelling and easily understandable visual through the art of storytelling 
  • Monitor and record all changes made to technical documents while promptly addressing any feedback received from instructors and Technical Content team. 
  • Review and suggest edits to courses written by subject matter experts ensuring editorial and technical quality standards are met. 
  • Monitor technical developments to contribute to course strategy and ensure that courses are responsive to learner needs. (LMS) 
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, machine learning, and AI. 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, information technology or related disciplines. 
  • A passion for becoming an expert in data science and AI; A work ethic that helps realize that passion. 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Solid oral and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote work environment. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Working knowledge of programming languages. Python programming is a plus.  
  • Basic of machine learning and data science concepts.
Nice to have: 

While the following are not required, the following would be helpful. We are a learning company, and we can train you. 

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. 
  • 1+ experience in creating educational content for computer science related subjects. 
  • Basic understanding of how neural networks, deep learning and generative models work. 
  • Familiarity with Canva is a plus point 
  • Understand and perform content management functions such as document organization using SharePoint, GitHub, and Bitbucket central stores for documentation. 
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and e-learning platforms.
