Account Executive

About the role:

As an Account Executive at Data Science Dojo, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from finding potential clients to securing deals and maintaining customer relationships. You will work closely with the Marketing team to create sales collateral and network to unearth new sales opportunities and turn them into long-term partnerships. 

What you will do:

  • Develop detailed business plans to achieve sales quotas and goals 
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals 
  • Identify new sales opportunities through networking and establishing long-term partnerships 
  • Create sales collateral such as presentations and brochures for Data Science Dojo services 
  • Lead discovery calls with potential customers, scope projects, and provide estimates for timelines, costs, and delivery milestones 
  • Maintain and improve the sales process by managing multiple deals simultaneously 
  • Expand and preserve the customer base by directly interacting with clients and presenting products to prospective customers 
  • Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues to maintain the company’s reputation 
  • Conduct needs assessments at different levels and for various customers and groups 
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and flexibility in a constantly growing sales environment 
  • Multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively 
  • Conduct research, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list 

What we are looking for:

  • An undergraduate degree in business administration, computer science, sales/marketing, or a related field 
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Account Executive or similar sales/customer service role 
  • Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving approach 
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles, and experience delivering compelling presentations to senior leaders 
  • Strong end-to-end ownership attitude from prospecting to closing 
  • Self-starters who can empower themselves and others in a rapidly evolving environment 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; experience with CRM software (HubSpot) is a plus 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships 
  • Organizational and time-management skills 
  • Business acumen, enthusiasm, and passion
