About the role:

Can you drive a company’s sales by developing and executing strategies that nurture new and existing customer relationships? Are you responsible for understanding the company’s products deeply, researching consumer needs, and identifying how solutions meet those needs. If yes, then we are on a hunt for you. As a sales specialist at Data Science Dojo, your daily activities must include market research, initiating and expanding customer relationships, and effectively communicating to advertise and market products. Additionally, Sales Specialists are focused on achieving specific sales targets, retaining clients, and negotiating contracts, ensuring both increased sales and customer satisfaction.

What you will do:

  • Craft and deploy compelling automated email sequences that captivate our audience. 
  • Initiate outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to skillfully engage with prospects. 
  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria, unlocking their potential as valuable customers. 
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospective customers, becoming their trusted guide in data science education. 
  • Provide detailed information about our training products and services, addressing inquiries and objections with finesse. 
  • Conduct thorough product demonstrations, respond to inquiries related to the product, and ensure customers have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings. 
  • Articulate pricing, features, and benefits with conviction, utilizing persuasive sales techniques to close deals and exceed sales targets. 
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of price quotes and invoices, maintaining order and clarity in every transaction. 
  • Keep your sales pipeline organized and up to date using CRM software, meticulously tracking lead status, notes, and next steps. 
  • Leverage various communication channels to prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a robust sales pipeline. 
  • Secure meeting opportunities through inbound and outbound calls and emails, driving towards closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas. 
  • Facilitate the seamless onboarding and set-up of new clientele for our exceptional services. 
  • Swiftly respond to sales inquiries and calls, delivering a customer experience that sets us apart.

What we are looking for:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 0-1 year of experience in sales and marketing outreach. 
  • Showcase a strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day. 
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools, making you a tech-savvy professional. 
  • Navigate CRM systems effortlessly, maintaining an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline. 
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus, showcasing your ability to connect with and understand customers. 
  • A passion for education and data science drives your commitment to our mission. 
  • Strong listening and presentation skills, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
