Data Science Dojo is scaling fast, expanding our reach in AI, data science, and technical education while launching new products like Ejento. To keep pace, we need an HR Associate – I who can spot high-potential talent, streamline recruitment, and help design learning experiences that keep our team ahead of the curve. Your work will directly impact our ability to innovate, scale, and lead in the AI space.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Talent sourcing & recruitment: Identify and engage potential candidates using job boards, social media (e.g., LinkedIn), and creative sourcing strategies.
  • Pipeline management: Maintain a dynamic candidate pool to meet future staffing needs and support rapid growth.
  • Interview coordination: Conduct screening calls, schedule interviews, manage logistics, and prepare interview materials for a seamless candidate experience.
  • Data-driven hiring: Analyze recruitment data to refine strategies and keep us ahead in the race for top talent.
  • Onboarding & HR operations: Manage onboarding tasks and ensure timely activation of employee benefits while learning the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • AI enablement: Initiate and champion AI-focused talent development, help design, coordinate, and deliver learning experiences that empower our team to thrive in AI-driven roles and projects.
  • Continuous improvement: Take ownership of HR processes, always seeking ways to streamline, innovate, and enhance the candidate and employee experience.

The skills and expertise you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, people development, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Internship or project experience in recruitment, selection, or learning & development is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for strategic, innovative thinking.
  • Basic proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with interview formats (phone, virtual, structured) and sourcing strategies (university outreach, headhunting).
  • Ownership mindset, proactive, reliable, and eager to take initiative.

 

Bonus Points:

  • Experience supporting recruitment or L&D in a tech or high-growth environment.
  • Exposure to HRIS or applicant tracking systems.
  • Interest in AI, data science, or technical education.
  • Experience organizing or facilitating workshops, training sessions, or team-building events.
