System Support Associate

As Data Science Dojo grows its global reach in AI education and launches new platforms, seamless IT operations are non-negotiable. We need a System Support Associate who can keep our systems reliable, our users productive, and our tech environment secure, so our mission to make AI accessible never misses a beat.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Technical support: Be the first line of defense for login issues, software applications, remote access, and peripheral device troubleshooting.
  • System setup & maintenance: Set up and maintain company laptops, desktops, and servers—including regular system updates, driver installations, and monthly health audits.
  • Operating system management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems for seamless performance across the organization.
  • Cybersecurity & compliance: Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, enforce IT security policies, and ensure compliance with evolving standards.
  • IT asset management: Track, allocate, and recover IT assets during onboarding and offboarding, keeping inventory organized and accessible.
  • Vendor & user liaison: Act as the bridge between vendors and employees to resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Remote onboarding support: Set up credentials, system access, and deliver security training for new hires joining from anywhere.
  • Self-service enablement: Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and knowledge bases to empower employees with self-service support.
  • Network & process optimization: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and refine IT processes for greater efficiency.
  • Event & meeting support: Provide technical support for company meetings, presentations, and events, including video conferencing setup.

The skills and expertise you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT support or a related role.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of system updates, hardware maintenance, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Availability to provide support during late hours or out-of-office hours when required.

 

Bonus Points:

  • Basic web development skills (e.g., WordPress and other content management systems).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) or remote collaboration tools.
  • Interest in AI, data science, or technical education.
