Associate Data Analyst

At Data Science Dojo, we’re launching Associate Data Analysts straight into the action: you’ll help build dashboards, automate workflows, and turn messy data into meaningful stories for clients and teams worldwide.

 

Data Science Dojo is expanding its analytics and AI-driven solutions to help organizations make smarter, faster decisions. As an Associate Data Analyst, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing interactive dashboards, analyzing complex datasets, and collaborating with both internal teams and clients. This role is your launchpad into the world of data analytics, giving you real experience with modern tools, AI integrations, and the business impact of actionable insights.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Develop dynamic, interactive dashboards and reports using diverse data sources and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand data needs, translate requirements, and deliver dashboards that make findings clear and actionable.
  • Coordinate ETL processes and partner with engineering teams to optimize data workflows and ensure data quality.
  • Apply data manipulation, cleaning, and transformation techniques to large, complex datasets.
  • Extract actionable insights from data trends within dashboards and reports, supporting smarter decision-making.
  • Utilize automation tools to streamline data processing tasks and develop user-friendly interfaces.
  • Integrate AI services (e.g., Azure AI, OpenAI) to enhance analytics capabilities and glean insights from unstructured data.

The skills and expertise you bring:

  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Power BI, with knowledge of DAX, data analysis, and publishing reports and dashboards to Power BI Service.
  • Familiar with integrating different data sources, including relational databases (SQL, MySQL), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Excel, and CSV files.
  • Basic understanding of data engineering concepts: data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
  • SQL skills for querying and manipulating relational databases.
  • Proficiency in Python or another programming language for data manipulation and visualization (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with large, complex datasets.
  • Robust organizational skills for multitasking and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Quick learning and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Willingness for further training and certifications, with a commitment to continuous learning in data science and analytics.
  • Effective communication of technical concepts and collaboration with team members.
  • Interest in data and technology, and eagerness to apply data analysis skills to real-world problems.

 

Bonus Points:

  • Certifications in Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900), or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300).
  • Knowledge of additional Microsoft Power Platform technologies (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and libraries such as scikit-learn, Computer Vision, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Experience integrating Power BI with Microsoft products and enterprise systems such as SAP and Salesforce.
