Malte Pietsch is the Co-Founder and CTO of deepset, the company behind Haystack, the open-source orchestration framework and agent harness. Deepset focuses on AI in regulated industries and public sector where sovereignty, robustness and cost efficiency is key. Before co-founding deepset in 2018, he conducted NLP research at Carnegie Mellon University and worked as a data scientist at several startups.
