Kiran Bondalapati is an Engineering Leader at Glean, where Kiran works alongside software, data, machine learning, AI, security and legal professionals to build enterprise AI systems, from trusted context and permissions to agentic workflows and the infrastructure behind them. With more than 20 years in the technology industry, Kiran has built teams and systems across the stack, spanning web-scale distributed systems, containers, security and hypervisors. Before Glean, Kiran was VP of Engineering at TRM Labs, the blockchain intelligence company, leading full-stack development, petabyte-scale data processing, cloud infrastructure, data science, application and cloud security, and forward deployed engineering. Earlier roles include work on Uber’s compute infrastructure and on micro-virtualization at Bromium. Kiran advises and mentors startups as a former Sapphire Ventures Fellow and Plato mentor, is an LP in CTO Fund, and writes about engineering leadership and enterprise AI at Approximately North.
