James Luan is the CTO of Zilliz, Chair of the Milvus community, and a member of the LF AI & Data Foundation’s Technical Advisory Committee. He holds a master’s degree in computer engineering from Cornell University and previously worked at Oracle, Hedvig, and Alibaba Cloud. His interests focus on databases, storage systems, and AI infrastructure.
