Changes written to SharePoint appeared in Power BI either immediately through automatic refresh or on the next scheduled update, depending on the dashboard’s configuration. For lifecycle tracking dashboards, this meant SMEs could update review statuses, add detailed comments, and reassign document owners without switching tools. Quality metrics dashboards gained the ability for supervisors to override automated fields or provide written justifications for CAPA closures right where the data lived.
