20 billion devices globally will be connected and generating data this year, according to Gartner. The Internet of Things is no longer a new concept; it has become more and more ubiquitous in industry such as transport and energy networks, health and fitness monitoring, marketing tracking, and more. But still not many businesses understand how build an IoT pipeline end-to-end and properly utilize the data these devices generate to their advantage.  These connected devices, sometimes referred to as Internet of Things (IoTs) range from personal gadgets like mobile phones and wearables to home appliance and automobiles. As industries rely more and more on automation, we will see industrial equipment rely more and more on sensor data coming from smartphones, wearables, home appliances, automobiles, and more. This introductory course will delve into the exciting field of Internet of Things, with hand-on practical walk-through on setting up IoT applications end-to-end and analyzing the data generating from devices. We will start with a gentle introduction, understand the architecture of an IoT application and build working prototypes for different industries. We will also discuss the pertinent legal, ethical, security and data governance issues.

I had taken ML and AI in Undergrad and looking at the curriculum made me wonder.. how can 2 semesters worth of class fit in 5 days? I'll tell you .. you focus on theory and directly use off the shelf library and have learnt enough to command the parameters.
